Salary: £15000 - £17000
Hours/Shifts: FULL-TIME 37.5 hrs per week - on shift/rota basis including weekends and sleepins (further hours available if wanted)

ABOUT THE SERVICE:
A permanent Support Worker vacancy has arisen to work across 2 excellent Supported Living Services in SW19, London (near Wimbledon) one service is a detached house supporting 6 clients aged from mid 30s to mid 60s both male & female - all with varying needs & abilities - with a learning disability and some mental health needs. There are no complex health requirements, however. The property has 7 bedrooms including a staff sleep-in bedroom. There is a big driveway and free parking available for staff.

Some of the residents at this service can demonstrate behaviour that challenges at times, and there would be a need to communicate effectively with a resident who is non-verbal. There will be lone working required at one of the services.

You will therefore be using the shift plan as a guide, but at the same time demonstrating flexibility and initiative.

A full and in-depth training programme will be provided for candidates who have limited professional experience. There is an experienced and supportive staff team that you'll be working alongside.
