Cooper Lomaz are looking for a HR assistant who will be required to provide efficient clerical support to the HR Manager. This will include filing, answering telephone enquiries, photocopying, typing correspondence and processing invoices.
You will be required to Prepare and place advertisements for job vacancies, both internal and external, and where necessary prepare job descriptions and person specifications and ensure that the job vacancies are kept up to date on the company Website. You will be responsible for preparation of Contracts of Employment and of policy documents, providing research support as required. You must also be prepared to do payroll so if you have experience in this it would be an advantage
The successful applicant will need excellent coordination skills and will Co-ordinate work experience placements and Customer Focus training. In addition to this the position will include assist with documentation relating to appointment of personnel and liasing with payroll on a day-to-day basis, providing information as and when appropriate, ensure that all information is actioned by the payroll deadline.
The role will also include
Assisting with the Sickness Monitoring Procedure and provide information when necessary.
Providing Maternity /Paternity advice to employees as required.
Assisting with the continued update and maintenance of the department’s HR System.
Provision of information to the Pension provider.
Assisting with booking training courses and related documentation.
It is essential for this role that you come from a food or FMCG background.
