Technical Administrator required ASAP for January start for Maternity cover contract in leading company.
This role requires someone highly IT literate to manage a number of databases and who has the ability to manipulate, import and export Excel Spreadsheets.
Good team working skills and the ability to pick up technical issues quickly is vital.
The ideal candidate will have experience within a similar role (ideally within food manufacturing) but this is not essential.
Key criteria:
Excellent knowledge of MS Excel Good at manipulating and summarising data Database input Compiling interpretive reports based on data base outputs Works as part of a team, but can also operate stand alone when required Maintains and updates records within various management information systems Input to and maintains spreadsheets/databases/systems and produces and collates reports Receives telephones calls and mail and distributes as appropriate Generally assists with the delivery of services to the client
Experience * Education to GCSE level as minimum (good passes in English and Maths) or equivalent * Experienced to at least intermediate level in MS Word and MS Excel * Familiar with/exposure to management systems or other similar data entry and reporting database applications

Responsibilities: * Reporting to Operations Director. * An overall focus on reducing costs and driving improvements in service throughout supply chain. * Overall responsibility for finished goods procurement from an international supply base. * Forecasting demand and capacity with factories. * Management of all areas of distribution (domestic and international) and negotiation of best rate tariffs with distribution suppliers. * Driving improvements in forecasting and accuracy of operational reporting. * Leading continuous improvement in business operations - with attention to our warehouse team and suppliers. * Focus on creating an industry leading distribution service. * Line management responsibility (1x administrator)
Experience: * 5 years previous experience in a supply chain management - including stock analysis, pricing models, shipping, KPI reporting on suppliers, and proven ability to reduce costs in this area. * Superb attention to detail and analytical skills. * Independent self starter and intelligent problem solver. * Strong organisational, project and change management and presentation skills. * Excellent people and client relationship management skills. * Proven ability to influence cross functional teams and suppliers. * Be able to demonstrate experience in systems management. * Experience of a New Product Development environment - i.e. quality control procedures. * Evidence of ability to drive and improve performance. * Software - MS Office - advanced knowledge of excel - and ability to quickly pick up in-house CRM and SOP system. * A personal demand for excellence. * Honesty, reliability, passion. * Fluency in English and Czech is essential, knowledge of other languages a bonus

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Procurement Manager to join a leading leisure sector company on a six month Interim contract (possibility of extension).
You will (ideally) be CIPS qualified, have a Leisure or Retail Industry background or sound experience in the categories required (as below).
You will also have worked on budgets in excess of £1.5 million in the following categories: Site maintenance Lighting Logistics/Freight Energy Consumption
Main Responsibilities:
Ensure consistent delivery of procurement solutions in alignment with the business need
Deliver quality, service and value for money, consistently, to all areas of the business
Consolidate and reduce the supply chain
Liaise with stakeholders to ensure that business needs from procurement are clearly defined
Measurable delivery of savings as defined by Procurement Director
Ensure that all contracts for the supply of goods and services have appropriate Service Level Agreements (SLA's) contained within them
Ensure all contracts have Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) with which to monitor and measure standards of supply
Ensure that all contracts are formally completed in conjunction with our legal advisors
Conduct regular performance appraisals with suppliers and service providers in line with SLA'S/KPI's. Involve attraction staff where appropriate.
Work with suppliers to continuously improve the way we work and introduce efficiencies at all stages of the supply chain that will deliver cost savings
Work with stakeholders to develop a business plan throughout the operating year so that key deadlines and ordering lead times are not missed
Continuously review ways of operating in order to ensure we do so efficiently employing best practice at best price.
Where appropriate and practicable, outsource some functions to specialists in order to focus on core activities.
