Our client who is a well known Accounting practice is looking for an Audit Senior to take a lead on-site role, reporting through the audit manager on a variety of audit assignments. Preparing accounts for audit and non-audit corporate clients.
Key duties
- Planning, carrying out and completing statutory audits of the
firm’s larger corporate clients
- Preparing companies statutory accounts and (dependent on extent of experience) corporation tax computations
You will be have a logical and methodical approach to work. Organised and able to
plan time efficiently. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Strong interpersonal skills in dealing with both clients and colleagues, with the aptitude to quickly build rapport. Accurate, with
excellent written and verbal communication skills. Polite and discrete when dealing with clients.
You must be ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent), although applicants nearing
qualification may also be considered. Audit experience essential.
You will have ideally have experience in using automated audit software and computer based
accounts and tax compilation programmes.
