Main Purpose of Job
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will manage all aspects of the Sales Ledger, Credit Management and Query resolution
Key Accountabilities
Oversee all aspects of the Accounts receivable ledger, including processing ad hoc invoices & credit notes, Pay & Bill amendments, allocating cash received, debtor account reconciliations, resolving queries from internal managers and suppliers.
Ensuring the DSO targets are met and reporting any deviations expected from this target.
Dealing with customer queries to ensure a swift resolution.
Work collaboratively with the sales team to ensure best practice is followed at the front end and any issues are fully understood with solutions implemented
Develop a structured approach to recovering debt and prioritising workload.
Production of aged debt reports for teams/consultants and hold regular meetings to discuss problematic accounts.
Continuous review of internal processes to enable ongoing development of processes to ensure strong controls and waste is eliminated.
Production of an end of month aged debt report for the commercial manager
Any other duties required to support the efficient and smooth running of the finance department including ad-hoc duties from time to time
Key Attributes
Computer literate with working knowledge of financial systems including word and excel
Advanced knowledge and experience in the management of all aspects of Sales Ledger and strong commercial credit control experience is essential
General accountancy experience is advantageous
Must have an organised with a methodical approach with excellent administration and communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent organisation skills with the ability to work in a team or unsupervised on their own initiative - pre-empting any possible issues that may arise
Good problem solver

My Client is looking to support the corporate and neighbourhood management ethos of the Police through promotion and co-ordination of architectural liaison principles across the force area. ALO qualification we be given ideal candidate will have town planning experience.
