Our client provides mechanical and electrical services in relation to the planned and reactive maintenance requirements of Data Centres. They are currently recruiting for an Operations Manager from a Data Centre/Critical Environment background to carry out the following;
To manage a team of maintenance and facilities technicians to support a growing client base and operate the underlying infrastructure in line with our stated SLAs.
The ideal candidate will be required to have excellent people/time management skills, have the ability to plan their own workload and delegate authority to other members of the team.

Our client provides mechanical and electrical services in relation to the planned and reactive maintenance requirements of Data Centres. They are currently recruiting for a Facilities Technician from a Data Centre/Critical Environment background to carry out the following duties;
To maintain the daily M&E operational requirements of a Data Centre based in North Yorkshire to ensure via maintenance procedures, that all service deliveries remain within the Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and to provide support services to ensure current and future operational requirements are accommodated.
The Facilities Technician works as part of a team, currently consisting of 2 other technicians, all reporting to the Operations Manager.
Duties;
All types of maintenance, preventive and reactive on all M&E plant and equipment including:
L.V single and 3 phase systems – primary and secondary distribution
L.V 3 phase UPS systems
L.V 3 phase Generator systems
E.L.V electrical systems
D.C battery systems
C.W systems
Pressurised vessels
Compressor systems
Rotary plant air handling units
Building Management System
Access control
CCTV
Data Centre and office CAT 5 cabling – Structured and loose, making, testing, laying
Data Centre and office fibre cabling
UK wide POP installs – A.C and DC power, Cat 5 and fibre cabling
BMS;
BMS operation and management
BMS associated installs e.g. access control
CAD design and planning

From a maintenance/facilities background with experience of managing projects (both direct labour and sub-contractors)
Ideally IOSH or NEBOSH or BIFM or CIBSE membership
