It is envisaged that the successful candidate will demonstrate proven mechanical and electrical knowledge and experience, ideally encompassing Three and Single Phase motors and the control of motors, Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, be capable of reading schematics and familiar with industrial circuits, Control System Logic and capable of calculations using Ohms Law. Experience of ERP systems would be advantageous although is not essential. Additionally, PC literacy in the use of MS Office software is essential (including Outlook), as is experience of effective planning and scheduling and excellent Customer Service and communication skill. Our client specialise in the design, development and implementation of automated materials handling solutions for supply throughout the UK and Europe, and are seeking to recruit an experienced and highly capable Systems Integration Manager to compliment the existing department.

• Acting as the company focal point internally, for subcontractors and for the Customer, on all systems integration related matters.
• Producing and maintaining documents and plans, detailing the project integration timetable and deadlines, resource & test requirements and project methodologies, whilst ensuring the correct level of effort and resource is allocated to contracts
• Preparing monthly reports detailing progress against plans, resource requirements and potential problems
• Developing and verifying specifications produced by others for FAT and SAT Tests as well as “on Completion” and Performance Tests
• Managing, executing & attending all test activities and ensuring results are properly recorded and published
To be considered for this challenging but highly exciting opportunity, you will be qualified to at least HND level in a relevant engineering discipline, and will demonstrate previous experience allied to the design of warehouse management software and / or control systems in the automated materials handling industry.
Additionally, you will possess proven Project Management abilities and exceptional communication skills to ensure effective communication with both internal and external customer project teams, as well as an organised and methodical “attention to detail” approach.
