A Senior Regulatory Affairs Manager is urgently required have primary responsibility for management of Regulatory Affairs activities and obtaining and maintaining the required regulatory approvals for products, including clinical trial approvals. You will provide strategic regulatory advice to project teams in relation to product development (manufacturing, safety, non-clinical) and clinical development, Phase I through to licensure. You will provide expertise in EU regulatory requirements for biologics including vaccines (pre- and post-market authorisation) to project teams.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide strategic regulatory support to project teams to enable the delivery of overall project objectives
• Monitor and communicate progress of projects and highlight critical issues to Senior Director, Regulatory Affairs
• Prepare regulatory submissions. Responsible for all activities from planning to final submission and approval by regulatory body.
• Ensure all regulatory approvals for clinical trials are obtained within agreed timelines and are properly maintained
• Manage regulatory documentation according to defined systems
• As required, review and approve non-clinical (safety, manufacturing and analytical) reports and documentation, and essential clinical documents required for, and to support, regulatory submissions
• Ensure EPDU Regulatory Affairs Team maintains up-to-date knowledge of existing and new regulations and guidelines. Ensure updates are communicated as appropriate within the organisation.
• Liaise externally with CROs and regulatory agencies, and represent the Company in discussions with regulatory agencies and commercial partners as required

Qualifications and Experience
• Experience in Regulatory Affairs within a biotechnology or biopharmaceutical environment, preferably within a SME or CRO providing services to SMEs
• A keen interest in, and enjoyment of the challenges of biologics product development from Phase I to licensure
• An in-depth understanding of the regulatory requirements for biologics product development in the EU, USA and Asia
• Experience of interacting with Regulatory Authorities at all stages of product development to market authorisation and post-licensure
• Experience of preparation, submission, approval and maintenance of clinical trial applications within EU, USA and Asia
• Experience of preparation of market authorisation applications in EU and/or market license applications in the USA and Asia
• Experience of eCTD compilation
