Description
|
Ensuring correct material is being utilised to produce relevant fabrication
Ensuring all fabricated parts are inspected for compliance with drawing detail and manufacturing order instructions
Ensuring all components have undergone relevant NDT Heat treatment operations (where applicable), and reports are duly checked. Responsibility in this category also includes random interpretation of radiographs
Ensuring all fabrications are constructed in accordance with drawing assembly/fabrication details
Ensuring relevant factory acceptance tests are successfully completed
Ensuring details of all fabrication inspections/non conformances are duly documented on relevant reports
Ensuring where applicable all fabrications have undergone the necessary verification by customer inspection representatives
Receiving inspection / verification of fabricated parts, structural products and welding consumables procured from suppliers
Carry out non destructive testing (NDT) on in process/finished components in accordance with instructions included on process routers and operations procedures

The correct site agent / sub agent Contributes to the tender and pre qualification process if required
Works within the company standards business plan, HSQE, CSR, Procurement/Supply, Finance, HR etc
Plan, programme, set up and run project with support/guidance if required
Produce & monitor resource programmes and costings
Understand and lead the planning process
Can control and monitor forecast costs
Deliver profitability that exceeds normal tender margins wherever possible
Act as ambassador for the company with customers, suppliers, public, employees etc
Develop and sustain good working relationships with customers and employees that contribute to the success of the project and business
Manage and evaluate risk and opportunity and act for the good of the company
Represent the company on contractual issues if required
