IP Implementation Engineer
A Global Leader in Telecommunications are seeking to recruit an IP Implementation Engineer to join their implementation and maintenance team The IP Implementation Engineer will work within a Managed Service for a UK and ROI mobile operator and be an IP Professional with proven pedigree in the IP arena.
The IP Implementation Engineer will contribute to an out of hours support rota.
The IP Implementation Engineer will be responsible for:- -Implementing changes to the Network Design to support new mobile products / services -Working alongside the IP Design Team you will support deployment life-cycle by reviewing design documents, impact assessment, review test procedures and executing network changes with minimum impact to end customers.
The IP Implementation Engineer will have the following key skills:- -Hands on technical understanding of MPLS, BGP, HSRP, OSPF, ISIS and STP (at least 3 of these). -Operational understanding at a hands on level with Cisco routers and switching. -Working knowledge of at least one of the following - Juniper, Redback, Huawei. -Knowledge of Cisco load balancers, cache engines and firewall architecture is highly desirable. -Certified to at least NP/IP (CCIP, CCNP) level.
