Our client is a medical and scientific communications company providing strategically driven scientific and technology solutions to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. They have two offices in the UK and more in the US.
They are currently looking for a Medical Writer to join their editorial team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of commercial experience within writing for this sector, and a PhD in biology, pharmacology, biochemistry, biomedicine, or a medically related field. You will have superlative communications skills and excellent project management skills.
Job duties include working with pharmaceutical clients, authors, and key opinion leaders; writing/editing medical communications and publications; helping to implement publication planning strategy; working with an account manager to coordinate activities with client and internal teams; and assisting with reference gathering and literature searches.
