JOB TITLE :
JUNIOR CAD Operator - London
RESPONSIBLE TO :Cad Manager
OPERATING FROM: South West London
PURPOSE OF JOB :
The ideal candidate will have experience using AutoCAD, mainly creating 2D installation plans and isometrics, and will have a good knowledge of other IT software.
ABOUT THE COMPANY
The company designs, project manages, installs, commissions and provides
Service & Maintenance of Refrigeration & Air Conditioning solutions,
predominantly to retail supermarket and convenience end users. Our
portfolio includes: John Lewis, Waitrose, Sainsburys, Marks & Spencer, BP,
Total UK, Boots, Netto, Somerfield, Debenhams, Cornish Kitchens and
numerous other national and regional clients.
KEY SKILLS:
Proficient in current release of AutoCAD (XREFs, Layers, Model/Paper space), Microsoft Office and Adobe
The successful candidate will be capable of working on their own initiative and to develop simple sketches in to fully working drawings.
Previous building services experience would be an advantage.
KEY TASKS INCLUDE:
Liaising with design engineers in producing CAD drawings.
Co-ordinating drawings from other disciplines.
Producing sections and details to demonstrate practical installations.
Maintaining CAD library.
Keeping directory of drawings up to date via various internet information channels.
Working within tight deadlines.
HOURS OF WORK:Monday to Friday, 9.00 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. with one hour for lunch.
You must be able to commute to south west London and o fgreat help will be an indication of your salary expectations.
