As senior java developer you will take the lead in java product developments but also be responsible for the customisation of existing solutions and improving current software architecture.
The successful Senior Java Developer will have the following skills:
ESSENTIAL
· 4 - 5 plus years Java development experience including EJB
· Exposure to software architecture and design
· Solid working knowledge of at least one of the following:
o Messaging technologies (IBM MQ Series ideally)
Application Server (ideally IBM WebSphere)
Database technologies (ideally Oracle)
Database mapping solutions, particularly EclipseLink
Experience of Hexadecimal and Unicode
Any background in smart card and EMV based payments systems will be a significant advantage. Also message based transaction processing, PCI and SSL would be of interest.
