DescriptionRegister your CV My client is a reputable engineering company based in Wellingborough, Northants. They are looking for experienced CNC setters with knowledge of Fanuc controls to join their already established team.

Experience in setting and operating CNC machines with current CNC experience with Fanuc controls is essential. Ability to work to tight tolerances, the ideal candidate will have the relevant engineering qualifications.

Duties to include working from drawings, the effective setting out and operating of the CNC machines, examine materials and products at various stages of processing for conformity to specifications to ensure quality of machine products is maintained and to produce high quality components. To ensure all information required for record keeping purposes manually are recorded accurately.

DescriptionRegister your CV My Client is looking for a Quality Assurance Assistant / Customer Service Officer to join their busy expanding team. This position is for 40 hours per week. You will provide both operational and customer service excellence, through ensuring quality control and returns are handled efficiently and within the required timescales to meet customer expectations. You will provide a pro-active and comprehensive customer support service to stores ensuring calls are responded to and dealt with in a timely and efficient manner. Principal Accountabilities * Assist the Technical & Quality Supervisor in building the new Quality Assurance Department incorporating all aspects of quality in processes, service and product to ensure a quality service is provided to all customers * Work with the Technical & Quality Supervisor and the Process & Projects Manager to support the new Quality Assurance Processes * Assist in the documentation and maintenance of business SOP's * Assist with continuous audit and compliance with existing processes and SOP's * Quality checking of incoming goods prior to distribution to customers * Ensuring all customer returns are recorded consistently for business review and reporting * Ensuring all goods returned to stock are in a re-usable condition * Maintain good relationships with customers, and ensure that they are kept informed of the status of returned goods * Undertake administration tasks such as filing as and when required * Support the Customer Service Supervisor in developing strategies and initiatives to ensure the function is able to provide outstanding service to customers and stores every time * Handle incoming telephone calls from customers, ensuring calls are answered promptly and professionally * Process lens and consumable orders * Liaise with suppliers and other relevant parties regarding problem orders * Maintain a regular check on order progress and ensure that customers are kept fully informed of the status of their orders * Update local systems ensuring that full details are maintained of contact with customers and relevant notes of any discussions * Maintain customer service emails and ensure that emails are responded to within a timely manner * Provide technical advice and guidance to customers where there is concern over the suitability of orders * Maintain strong working relationships with existing customers and stores developing positive relationships with new stores to ensure long term success Knowledge: * Good understanding of quality processes * Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office * Optical knowledge (desirable) Experience: * Experience of working in a quality role * Experience in a customer facing role Skills: * Excellent organisational skills * Ability to prioritise workload * Effective communication skills - able to articulate messages clearly and concisely and adapt communication styles according to the audience * Strong attention to detail * Able to identify problems and come up with suitable solutions * Customer service focus If you feel that you have the skills and experience please send me your CV.
