MOULD SHOP SETTER OPERATORS
*£24,000 (day shift) £28,000 - £30,000 night shift - Flexible for the right person
*Permanent role, with immediate start

Working for a prestigious company who are a progressive 1st tier supplier of engineered systems & components to the automotive industry, my client is looking for an individual with a sound background in setter/operating, some supervisory experience is also preferable but not essential. Candidates should also possess the ability and attitude to work with others to meet production targets and deadlines. Working in a hands-on role, the successful candidate will have responsibility for Mould Shop production demands.
DUTIES:
*Mould tool setting, in-process quality checks, supervision of Mould Shop operatives
*Kanban maintenance
*Using mainly NB & Engel machines
*Tool maintenance as required and fulfilment of supply / output demands
*Automotive injection moulding experience is essential
CANDIDATE:
*Experience in Mould Setting essential coupled with knowledge of; tool hanging, setting, conditioning and machine optimisation
*Good working understanding of 5S, SMED and multiple core pulling (scrap reduction and cycle time improvement) also essential.

SURFACE MOUNT TECHNICIAN
Benefits include:
*Working 2 shift patterns : Monday to Thursday 6.00am-2.30pm OR 11.00am-8.00pm, Friday 6.00am-2.30pm OR 8.30am-3.00pm (Alternating on weekly or monthly basis-to be agreed between the two members of the team)

MAINTENANCE ENGINEER
*£10.20 per hour

Working in a hands-on role, the successful candidate will ensure all equipment, plant and site is maintained on a regular basis to a planned maintenance schedule. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of mechanical and electrical fault finding and ideally have served an apprenticeship or similar.
