The team consists of 6/8 high calibre B2B/B2C Telemarketers, who each work on a selection of their individual campaigns.

The position therefore has two main areas of responsibility (1) The team and (2) The clients, as outlined below:

The Team
Duties include:
• Motivating the team
• Coaching and supporting the team on telemarketing and achieving targets set
• Annual performance appraisals
• Monitoring and increasing productivity
• Developing the team through our 5-tier career path

The Clients
Duties include:
• Conducting client meetings including:
o Briefing meetings at the start of a campaign
o Adhoc mid campaign check in meetings
o End of campaign review meetings
• Reporting to clients on a daily, weekly and monthly basis on the progress of their campaigns
• Liaising with our clients to ensure they are happy with the progress, and make any changes they want. This will include some creativity too.

Our client supplies spare parts and services to ocean going vessels around the world, their clients are blue chip vessel operators who expect the highest level of service, our business is solely aimed at assisting with vessel breakdowns and spare parts and as such, we need to consistently respond quickly to requests for service and spares from vessels around the world.

The current vacancy (PT, 5 days/week, afternoons) is for a person who can provide consistent and reliable customer service; the primary responsibility is supporting sales in daily processing, logging and generating parts requests to suppliers, together with investigating and liaising with clients on world-wide parts deliveries and progressing parts requests from suppliers.

Daily work requirements are careful, thorough and efficient handling of documents and parts data, utilising Microsoft Office (Word/Outlook/Excel) and specialised software. The person working in this role will be expected to acquire and develop a thorough knowledge of relevant spare parts sources and suppliers, full and ongoing training and support will be provided by the Sales Manager
All client requests are urgent as they specifically concern vessel equipment breakdowns and are required to be dealt with same day and progressed quickly and accurately.

They occupies modern, pleasant city offices in Central Portsmouth, the office houses a small team, 3/4 people managing spare parts requests and logistics, the position attracts free parking and 4 weeks holiday, the Sales and Quotations Administrator is required to work 4 hours/day, 5 days/week afternoons, for example 1 pm to 5 pm.
