ROLE
You will be responsible for taking gas related emergency & contractor calls. Dealing with the administration of gas related emergencies and auto gas breakdowns. You need to be able to work well under pressure whilst demonstrating a clear customer focus.
You will need to ensure that industry and departmental procedures are followed and that appropriate action is taken. The role is varied and you will be required to provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers at all levels.
The role involves manning an emergency line, to record essential details and provide scripted advice to the customer, arrange the engineer visit and then complete the administrative work.
PERSON
We are looking for a reliable, systematic and confident performer who is able to work well as part of a team. Experience of clerical, administrative and pc packages are required in a busy customer orientated environment. You will need to have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively with both internal and external customers on all levels. You will need to have customer focused telephone skills, ideally and experience of a similar environment.
Working Hours
The plan is to open the service from 8am to 8pm everyday (inc sat & suns) preferably over two shifts. Open to evening or weekend only staff.
PACKAGE
The package is circ £15,000 max pro rata for the hours contracted, 25 days holiday pro rata, Pension, Bupa concessions.

The company
The company is a well established contractor with long term contracts in the commercial office sector with major IT companies.
It installs and maintains air conditioning within commercial premises in and around London and the Home Counties and is a member of HVCA.
It has a reputation for high standards and is a member of the REFCOM scheme that demonstrates proof of compliance with good practise in the use of refrigerants.
The role
Service engineers will be servicing and fault finding on close control equipment on sites with data centres and disaster recovery equipment that are often operating on a 24/7 basis.
Some splits and VRF equipment is also sometimes involved.
The person
You must have plenty of experience of Air Conditioning close control fault diagnosis and be self sufficient enough to cope with sometimes pressured conditions.
The package
In return the company offers close control service engineers a basic of around £32k and with overtime you can expect more than £40k.
You will sometimes need to carry special equipment to site so that a van is the preferred option offered by the company but it will offer a car where this is preferred and feasible.
The package includes a pension, private heathcare and life insurance and facilities around specialist tools.
The location

Their turnover is rising and they have a stable and loyal workforce, with all of their staff having been their for 7 years. This opportunity has a arisen due to retirement.
THE ROLE
The main design element is to design underfloor heating, most of the work is 2d design and the jobs range from 100m2 to 1000m2. Our client sends a number of overseas based designers a design brief, and they do the bulk of the design draughting. Once a design layout has been received, this role involves taking the various length of pipe off the system to work out the pressure drop. You also have to check the designs and get them off to the customers, and then once agreed, proceed with the preparation documentation for installation.
There is a good deal of working with other people in this role. It is crucial to build a good relationship with customers and the other designers.
THE PERSON
Essential:
1. Some experience of the building industry, in particular the mechanical side (HVAC).
2. Be able to cordinate suppliers and customers.
3. Autocad Design experience is essential. Ability to turn around an underfloor heating design in a couple of hours.
Ideal but not essential experience:
1. Looking for heating design experience.

ROLE:
They require a new business Sales Engineer to sell HVAC projects to Mechanical Consultants and large end users. There is a small service offering as well. There are two other Air Con and Refrigeration sales engineers, and there is scope to be promoted to manage these once settled.
PERSON:
Essential:
* Successful new business track record

The person

The package
The role of design engineer carries a salary of £25000 to £35000 depending on experience and around £20000 initially for a graduate appointment.

Every year they decide how much a perfect engineer is worth, and create a high performer salary, and then they pay their staff proportionately to this benchmark. Some achieve the benchmark; some get less and some exceptional employees will exceed the high performer salary. Currently the high performer salary is £37,000. There can be discretionary bonus, where a high performer could earn £5000 p.a. There is also a fair and reasonable scheme for out of hours working. Some of the best control engineers take home a package of over £50,000.

* Car - There is a graduated car policy leading to BMW 3 series or Audi A4 for a multi-disciplined, fully capable Controls Engineer. Or they can opt for a car allowance which is up to 11.5% of annual salary.
* BUPA employee free, spouse & children for a £10 monthly contribution. There is also a “Fit ‘n Healthy” Scheme where a fixed “pot” contribution by the company (dependant on staff numbers) is divided by all those employees who have not taken any time off in that quarter.

Training and Development: They take pride in the capability of all their staff and ensure they receive all necessary training from manufacturers, by further education or at special in-house "teach-in" sessions.
Location: Ideally you should be located 1 hour from West Kent. This could include living in Sussex, Surrey, London or South Essex.
