Main Responsibilities:
Planning and organizing of work on a day to day basis. Organisation of day to day administrative functions of the Production Control Department including generation and maintenance of test certification, delivery documentation, daily manifest, holiday and works personnel files, holidays and time sheets. Organising and ordering of works & office consumables. Maintenance of specific customer contracts.
•Ensuring all filing systems are adequately maintained, i.e. test certification, proof of deliveries, job tickets, etc. accurate and completed in a timely manner.
•Investigation and resolution of any stock anomalies ensuring the integrity of stock is maintained at all times.
•In conjunction with the Works Supervisor, planning and organizing work for CAD department, ensuring customer orders are processed in a timely manner.
•Monitoring and recording of processing and production performance, investigating and identifying anomalies and making recommendations for improvements.
•Monitoring of time keeping, absenteeism and general performance in conjunction with the Group Operations Manager.
•Ensuring works hours and staff hours are accurately recorded and advised to the Personnel Department in a timely manner for payroll.
•To process all MUK orders to agreed lead times in a timely manner ensuring accurate records are maintained for consignment stock.
•To ensure Customer complaints are processed in a timely and efficient manner and any procedural flaws brought to the attention of the relevant manager to enable continuous improvement.
•Through perpetual inventory ensuring stock integrity, identifying any anomalies and seeking a satisfactory conclusion to these. Ensuring the General Manager and Group Operations Manager are made aware of any potential problems at the earliest opportunity so as to affect a long term resolution.
•To ensure systematic housekeeping is undertaken and maintained in a timely and efficient manner.
•To ensure the Company's quality systems and procedures are adhered to at all times.
•To ensure the Company's health, safety & environmental systems and procedures are adhered to at all times.
•Investigate and resolve customer queries/complaints ensuring both the customer and the relevant sales person is kept informed as to the outcome.
•The generation and distribution of a daily workload document to the Works Supervisor.
•Generation and maintenance of a COSSH register, ensuring that the Works Supervisor is informed of any potential hazards.
•Generation and maintenance of the Approved Supplier List in compliance with the quality system and procedure.
•Ensuring office consumables, PPE work wear and works consumables are ordered in a timely manner and the purchase order procedure is adhered to.
The ideal applicant shall have previous experience working in an aerospace, automotive or engineering background. You may have worked your way from a shop floor operative up to Production Planning level and may only have 1yrs experience within such a role or you may have 5 yrs knowledge and expertise under your belt; either way my client wants to hear from you and all applications shall be considered on each individual merit.
My client offers a basic salary of £20,000 - £25,000 per annum depending on experience however this is certainly negotiable for the right person who will compliment their existing workforce. Also on offer is 25 days holiday including statutory Bank Holidays.
