Your role will be a position that continuously develops and everyday will be different, from researching all leads to understand the organisations requirements for the hotel accommodation, conference facilities, training and being able to negotiate preferred rates, booking appointments to go out and meet future clients, sending out correspondence and getting involved in networking events, when you book a appointment with a clients ensure that you have qualified them yourself as potential business opportunities and attend the meeting with a clear objective of what you would like to achieve, making sure you log each lead on the sales data base sending feedback to keep your Manager in the loop.

To be successful in the role you must have done a similar role within hospitality and be able to demonstrate your sales ability as you will be asked to come up with new ideas on how best to drive the business forward in each hotel remembering that what could work for one property might not work for all the properties, you will also be asked to complete show rounds which you will need to demonstrate that you can go the extra mile for each client !

You will also need to have excellent communication skills for this position and be able to communicate with other on all different levels as well as being able to keep the rest of the HOD’s up to date with each clients requirements.
