Senior Account Executive (UK)
The role
Support the account management team in the overall management and development of accounts so that objectives of the client are met by the management of internal and external resource. Lead key elements of accounts as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Client support and Project Management
Principal client contact on day-to-day administrative and logistical issues on designated accounts
Identify key client personnel and develop relationships with them
Attend key client briefs and participate in the briefing of projects into relevant departments (studio, editorial etc.)
Maintain/know the detail and current status of all active projects and communicate status to internal team and client as needed
Ensuring that all members of the team are carrying out their actions as agreed in client meetings/status calls etc.
Develop and track schedules and ensure that all client needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner
Alert senior account handlers if projects appear to be going off schedule or budget and provide an overview of why such changes are occurring (e.g. SOW change, under budget etc. )
Work with account management team and the editorial team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of work, including
Development of Creative briefs with the account team
Development of Written briefs with the account team
Tactical campaign material development
Support for other tactical elements including ad boards, symposia, CME events
Reference sourcing and checking
Scientific research
Industry wide research
KOL searching
Competitor audits
Minimum of 1-2 years experience of account management/marketing within the healthcare industry
Proven experience in developing client relationships and effectively delivering project tactics.
New Business
Contribute to new business development for existing and new clients and assist in the development of proposals – attend pitches where needed.
Negotiating - Takes the lead from senior account handlers but negotiates with clients /internal staff effectively on day-to-day things such as timelines
Planning - With minimal support from senior team can plan projects and ensure they are running on time, to budget etc. Senior Account Executives are expected to flag if things are drifting and provide recommendations on how to manage such drift.
Customer Focus - Meet client expectations and puts the customer first (internal and external)
Presentation skills - Must be confident conversing with clients, agency partners and internally, must be confident delivering opinions and recommendations in both client and internal meetings
Problem Solving - Provides recommendations for everyday problems and looks at the bigger picture and beyond the obvious. Support to be provided by senior team but Senior Account Executives are expected to try and find solutions to everyday problems where possible.

Responsible for their own database of Applicants, our Negotiators guide their customers from first enquiry right through to moving in day.
This process includes; advising potential Tenants immediately a new property comes on to our books, accompanying Applicants to viewings, negotiating terms between the Landlord and Tenant, liaising with Inventory Clerks, Relocation Agents and Contractors.
