Our client is looking to appoint a Fabrication Sales Estimator. The candidate will have had previous fabrication estimating experience and ideally will have served time in a shop floor environment within a similar business.
The successful candidate would liaise with appropriate internal departments and suppliers to develop an accurate quotation at an agreed margin, allowing for the requirements of the specification and contract.
Good commercial and industry awareness would further enhance our interest .
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
The successful candidate will have worked for 2 years in a manufacturing business with hands on experience, experience of metalwork / fabrication is preferred. You will understand manufacturing methods and be able to develop good relationships with customers.
Strong mathematics skills, an ability to read construction drawings, understand Bills of quantities and interpret client requirements are essential skills.
Hours: Mon – Fri 9am – 5pm
