Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Maintenance Contracts Manager on a temporary basis, due to a high volume of work at present. The main function of the role will be visiting our client's properties, diagnosing M&E defects, determining appropriate repairs and issuing work orders to contractors for necessary remedial works.
Duties:
Inspecting premises throughout Wiltshire
Leading and managing contractors in regards of projects, resolving problems and the daily progress on works at specific sites.
Daily interaction with internal customers with progress updates in relation to works
Preparing schedules of work
Obtaining quotes from sub-contractors
Monitoring progress of works
Attending meetings and writing reports
Experience Required:
Experienced with mechanical and electrical installations
An electrical or mechanical qualification
Local Authority or public sector experience
Contract management experience
Computer literate using Microsoft packages
Able to pass a CRB check
