PANEL BEATERS REQUIRED FOR DERBY AREA....
JOB SUMMARY PURPOSE
To undertake repair work achieving high standards of quality and efficiency to ensure customer expectations are met
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Complete all repairs in line with the job sheet and best practice guidance, consulting Thatcham guidance where necessary
Carry out and record initial inspection of vehicle for additional damage not identified on job card.
Label any parts removed with allocated job number.
Complete additional requisition as necessary supported by Supervisors signatures.
Prepare/repair or replace panel parts as identified on job card.
Liaise with Parts Department for replacement parts as necessary.
Complete jobs within the estimated timescales
If qualified you may be required to supervise and sign off colleagues work as required.
Ensure all work carried out meets acceptable safety and quality standards.
Minimise wastage of materials and consumables.
Follow Health & Safety/COSHH regulations relating to painting and paint products.
Wear and use Personal Protective Equipment as necessary.
Complete any other duties as necessary to the efficiency of the company.
Maintain a safe working environment.
Complete any other duties necessary to the efficiency of the company.
