An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a market leadin company within scientific instrumentation in the Manchester and also the London region. This prestigious company requires two technical salespeople to continue to grow this rapidly expanding business. This instrumentation company has an extensive market-leading portfolio.
These senior sales roles will be within the field and will promote products within the Manchester or London area. These business development manager roles will need an energetic, motivated sales person to deal with all aspect of increasing market share.
To be considered for these highly desirable positions the ideal candidates will have experience selling instrumentation, but candidates with chemical/Physical laboratory experience wanting to move into sales will be considered.

Our client is a northwest based Polymers company. On their behalf we are seeking an individual with a background in quality control of high quality manufactured products and experience of working in a manufacturing environment.
Educated to a higher national qualification in Polymer Science or Engineering, you will use your knowledge of Quality Control Inspection Principles and experience of using conventional visual and dimensional inspection equipment such as microscopes, micro and vernier callipers etc to provide QC information.
Also important to this role will be your ability to use new inspection/analysis techniques/methods and also interpret and implement job requirements, defined within process documentation, drawings, specifications and procedures.

We are looking for an Analytical Chemist to join our clients R&D team.
As a minimum we’re seeking candidates with a degree in Chemistry although higher qualifications are by no means going to work against you! Principally we are seeking candidates with a Pharmaceutical (GMP/ICH) background in Analytical Chemistry coupled with a good understanding of Synthetic Organic Chemistry. This role will involve you liaising with internal colleagues and also customers on projects so it’s important that you will have worked in the Pharmaceutical industry or a very closely related area. Good communication and time management skills will also be important.
The position will require a strong background in GC and HPLC as well as IR/UV spec and other techniques. Central to your suitability will be your ability to understand the requirements of an analytical method, change current methods and develop a method as necessary. With this comes a responsibility in Method Validation.
