Our client, a leading Swiss manufacturer, is integrating its UK operations head office and engineering workshop in Bicester.
Seeking a Spare Parts & Logistics Coordinator, this role will be a key member of the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing both Company’s and third party manufactured spare part sales, including:
* Ensuring that customer requirements are met
* Sales development and quotations
* Management of stock
* Recording orders and sales and invoicing customers.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that customers receive their spare parts on time, every time, and that all appropriate shipping documentation is prepared, candidates must be able to work to tight deadlines under minimal supervision. Knowledge of import and export processes, and dealing with HM Revenue and Customs is essential. If possible, candidates should have an apprenticeship, OND/C or similar in mechanical engineering, however, previous stock management experience preferably in capital equipment or mechanical engineering is essential. This role would suite candidates from a logistics / expediting environment specifically within an Engineering discipline. Exposure to Supply Chain Management again within an Engineering Discipline would be advantageous.
Previous experience of managing customer and supplier requirements efficiently is essential as is a commercial focus and experience of utilising Access Dimensions accounting package or similar. Candidates should be skilled in the use of MS Excel and other Office software.
