Our client is looking for a Production Shift Manager with a proven background in the food Industry who will be responsible for leading and developing production against a range of KPIs such as product quality, safety, and to a budget. You will be expected to manage production across various shifts and develop and train your team to the required level and report in to the Operations Manager. The Role: You will be responsible for the following: * Ensuring the production team's compliance with all health and safety requirements, both legally and set by the company. * Risk assessments, responding appropriately to any major incidents on site and to take the lead with any investigations within your role. * Leading and training a team to deliver the products to the customer's specifications within set timescales and expected to take the initiative to develop a plan where the timescales cannot be met. * Coaching and developing your team and taking a proactive approach with meeting training needs.
