The Role
You will be working in a busy account management environment responsible for both UK and Export Sales administration.This is a challenging role, which involves regular contact with other internal departments within M&P. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Working with our Export Sales, Buying and Merchandising and Distribution Departments, you will ensure all orders meet expected despatch dates, products conform to customer requirements and service levels exceed customer expectations.
- Liaising with Export Sales and the Finance team, you will ensure adequate credit facilities are in place for each order and generating associated documentation ie Letters of credit etc.
- Direct contact with Forwarders and Distribution Centres (DTCs) for ex works shipments and providing them with all relevant information.
- Liaising with our International Franchise team regarding fulfilment of our Franchise Partners orders.
- Liaising with our National Accounts team regarding fulfilment of our Domestic National accounts orders
- Supply customers with new product information, completing relevant specification sheets and arranging sample supplies of new products
Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will possess a confident telephone manner, excellent written skills and the ability to respond to customers both internal and external, with diplomacy, staying calm under pressure and remaining helpful at all times.
You will:
- Be pro-active and extremely organised, maintaining files and producing accurate reports as required.
- Possess strong numerate and analytical ability together with a methodical and organised approach.
- Demonstrate the tenacity to liaise with other internal departments as necessary.
- Be a team player, dynamic and forward thinking with the ability to use your own initiative.
A good basic knowledge of data entry systems, Microsoft Office applications particularly Excel, would be beneficial though training will be provided where necessary.
