The role •Responsibility for the efficient operation of the home shopping department receiving calls from both the UK and Ireland. •Effectively manage all staff and ensure all Key performance targets are met, taking into account both sales and service levels. •Ensuring the highest quality standards are adhered to in order to provide the ‘Ultimate shopping experience for new and expectant parents. •The ability to take a ‘hands on’ approach, handling calls as and when required. •Identify opportunities to improve overall performance through call monitoring and training. •Ensure product knowledge of the team are of the highest standards and have the ability to work alongside a number of departments. •Work closely with the e-commerce team to provide ongoing feedback for web related issues. •Provide weekly updates to the Home Shopping Manager. The Person •Proven track record in managing a team is essential: customer service, telesales (both inbound and outbound) •Have a working knowledge of computerised systems e.g. Spreadsheets, Word Processing. •A creative thinker with an innovative approach to problem solving. •Confident with the ability to communicate to all levels of the business. •You will be proactive with a dynamic and analytical approach to driving performance.
