Fantastic opportunity to join a leading global engineering consultancy within a newly created position.
Our client is seeking a Software Developer to be involved with the full life cycle of new projects working within industrial and manufacturing industries. Projects will include working with some of the biggest blue-chip organisations in the UK. The position will based in Derby but can include some travel to other sites (max 30%). You will work alongside other leading engineers but must also be capable of working on your own.
Key background and skills sought:
• Visual Studio
• SQL Server 2005 and onwards
• Knowledge from industrial, manufacturing, process or similar industry
• Client facing experience
• Knowledge of SCADA or PLC (desirable, not essential)

Based in Colchester, Essex our client is a growing marine engineering organisation actively undergoing a strong phase of growth and expansion. Currently they are in the process of moving to new larger premises (5x times bigger!) and seeking to expand the experienced multidiscipline team.
The position of Quotations Engineer is a new position for the company and the ideal candidate would be involved with the full life cycle of new projects. Primary tasks would include converting new incoming opportunities into orders, responding to breakdowns, meeting tender requirements and offering cost analysis to exceed customer expectations.
Background and skills sought should include previous experience dealing with quotations, tenders, proposals or technical skills for customers in a heavy engineering environment (ideally marine, energy, offshore or similar).
