We are looking for a QA Engineer on behalf of our client based in Washington, Tyne & Wear.
Reporting to the Quality Manager, the successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate their ability to work both under their own initiative & as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Responsibilities will include:
AQP of New Products, to include generation & development of PFMEA, QCP, Inspection Standards, Limit Samples, Product & Process Capability Studies, Gauge Specifications & Standard Operations, In-Process Check Sheets, MSA, ISIR, PPAP, Launch, Inspection Plans, etc.
2New Product Project Support, including Customer Parts Quality Function Liaison, Project Team Milestone Review, Internal & External Tool Trial/Line Trial Support, Line Trial Data & Variation Control Data Management, etc.
New Product Launch Containment Control, including short term in-plant Guest Engineer Support at Customer site(s), where required.
3Internal Scrap Reduction Activity Support
Internal Kaizen Improvement Activity Support
Quality Improvement Activity Monitoring & Support
4Technical Customer Concern Investigation & Resolution, NCMAR Management & CCAR Response utilising QC Tools including use of 8-D, 5-Why, Cause & Effect Analysis, etc.
Technical QA Support to internal departments, incl. Guidance in application of Quality Standards, Quality Tools & Techniques training, etc.
Package Details:
Salary up to £30,000
