Highly dedicated and motivated social worker is needed to start work in a genuinely challenging and rewarding child protection role. As required by the Children Act of 1989 you will be responsible for the provision of Children who are assessed as being in need. The caseload will be made up of mainly short-term cases, although cases with children that have more long-term needs may also need attention.
You will have at least one years experience within a children and families environment and you will be available to start work within two weeks of accepting the role. Initially a three-month contract to help deal with a heavy workload; professional excellence and the right personality could be rewarded by a permanent job offer.

Our client requires an enthusiastic and highly motivated Qualified Social Worker to join their integrated, multi-disciplinary team within Children & Families.
You will be required to be a team player, able to work closely with service users and a range of partners and providers. Duties will include:
Assessments and Care Management
Manage care plans
Working as part of a team
Participating in the Duty system as required
Child Protection enquires and investigations
To work with Children, siblings and family members
To participate in team meetings
Keeping accurate case records

Training and development activities as agreed by line manager
