We require an innovative Design Engineer who is looking for a new challenge.
The candidate must be capable of multi-tasking over a wide range of engineering disciplines with design experience of industrial equipment essential.
This position is to join a team of engineers designing solutions for industrial automation, test equipment and mechanical handling.
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to develop their ability to work on and execute projects from the initial design stage, through manufacturing and test, to on site commissioning and support.
We operate a fully integrated IT network and would expect applicants to be familiar with word processing, spreadsheets and database packages. SolidWorks 3D CAD experience would be an advantage.

Our client are suppliers of air condtioning, heating, ventilation and plumbing services thoughout the UK but most notably in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire, over the recent years due to the Companies logistical location with some very high profile clients and Main Contractors.
An opportunity has arisen for a 'Senior Mechanical Estimator' based at Belper, Derbyshire.
The ideal candidate will also need some design ability and be able to tender for contracts that range of value from the lowest of about £10k to £2million.
Majority of work will typically embrace:
In house piped services
Plumbing
Heating
Chilled water
Sub Contract Ventilation & Air conditioning
Fire prevention & Controls
The contracts are generally in the commercial sector tendering for main contractors for projects such as:
Offices
Warehouses
Public Sector Schools
Hospital & Medical Centres
Food Industry
The ideal candidate will be qualified in Building Services Engineering to an HNC Standard and be able to work along side one other Estimator and an assistant but essentially required to head up the team. They will require good communication skills, be able to work to tight deadlines and represent the company at client presentations and meetings.
