Due to continued growth our client based in Christchurch are looking to recruit an experienced Purchasing Expeditor to start ASAP.
You will be liaising with the buyers, product coordinators and suppliers to achieve best possible on time delivery whilst reporting relevant information. All delivery information is to be made available to interested parties with in the business.
This is a key role in which the employee will be expected to adopt a logical approach in order to proactively pursue the supplier base for delivery information. The Expeditor will have good communication skills, a persuasive telephone manner and full ownership of the purchase order schedules reporting function. An appreciation of project Co-ordinators roles and responsibilities with in the MRP and production areas are essential. Good administration skills are essential with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
