Troubleshoot problem areas (in person, by telephone, or via e-mail) in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end-user assistance where required.
Conduct research on desktop products in support of PC procurement and development efforts. Evaluate and recommend products for purchase.
Write technical specifications for purchase of PCs, desktop hardware and related products.
Experience required:
Previous experience working in a similar IT support position
Hands-on software and hardware troubleshooting experience.
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Exceptional knowledge of computer hardware
Hands-on experience with business requirements gathering/analysis.
Experience with desktop and server operating systems
Self-motivated and directed, with the ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high pressure environment.
Strong customer-service orientation. Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Adept at reading, writing, and interpreting technical documentation and procedure manuals.
Ability to conduct research into hardware and software issues and products as required
Candidates need to have a good level of speaking and writing German
Some travel may be required to other company sites on a weekly/monthly basis which may include overnight stays.
The successful candidate will be required to be on call basis on a rota basis.

We are recruiting for a Quality Engineer to work in a successful manufacturing company in Hampshire.
Purpose of the role:
Support the Production and Manufacturing departments with all quality related issues
Analyse the root cause and identify permanent fix solutions and/or guidance on action(s) to be taken to resolve quality problems through the use problem solving tools and techniques
Oversee first production start-up of new products, including carrying out capability studies and product inspection to ensure that Customer specifications and requirements are achieved. Present findings at post first production run review meetings
Support new product introduction by providing specific quality engineering expertise to NPD projects, and participate in line trials. Present findings at post line trial run review meetings
Carry out risk assessments for all production lines and major business processes
Fully investigate and respond to customer complaints
Skills/ Experience required:
Candidates are required to be educated to degree level or equivalent in a science, engineering or manufacturing related discipline
Previous experience in a similar quality role within and FMCG environment ideally in the Pharmaceutical, Beauty/Cosmetics or Food and Beverage industries.
Good knowledge of quality analytical/problem solving tools and techniques gained through practical experience
It is desired that candidates are qualified or experienced at carrying out audits.
Experience of working within a GMP environment
A confident people person able to influence and communicate effectively with all levels of personnel
