Purpose of the role:
Conduct test support engineering.

My client is an engineering company, located in Basingstoke.
The Estimator & Cad operator will specialise in preparing quotations for the supply of fabricated components to a wide range of industrial/commercial customers. Knowledge and experience in a similar role within mechanical engineering is essential.
Utilising your knowledge and expertise you will be responsible for creating Bills of Materials, Routings and supporting CAD data such as flat patterns and CNC Laser/Punch programmes to aid the production of accurate quotes.
Skill requirements:
Must have CAD experience preferably using Radan.
Candidates with a strong mechanical engineering background and experience of using other CAD software such as, Solidworks, AutoCAD, ProEngineer, FabriWin and Tops100 will be considered as full Radan training will be available.
Must have worked in a fast paced engineering environment and have knowledge of the estimating process.
Experience in processing metal components including CNC sheet metal fabrication.
Must be able to interpret technical drawings and material specifications.
Good computer literacy and mathematical skills.
Demonstrate customer service skills and be able to work both independently and in a group environment.

Ability to change direction whilst completing priorities.
Ability to complete tasks with minimum supervision.

Facilities Assistant
Contract (9 Months)
£16,000 to £18,000 per annum dependant on experience
Purpose of the role:
Manual labour moving equipment and furniture.
Asset Management and updating the asset database
Implement health and safety procedures
Vehicle fleet management including recording mileage and servicing
Assisting the EHS and Facilities Manager
Skills/ Experience required:
Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office would be an advantage
Good communication skills to deal with internal and external customers
On the job training will be provided however experience in a similar role will be an advantage
Due to the nature of the products the company manufacture candidates must be UK nationals with no right to dual nationality.
