Since 1993 OPERON has grown to over 1200 employees serving a variety of clients within the UK and Ireland. The Meaning of OPERON

OPERON, a word taken from the field of genetics, means a group of adjacent genes functioning as a unit under the control of another gene (the operator gene)'. In this analogy, the Company acts as the controlling operator gene function that is supported by a network of individual and specialist genes (Company Divisions) within an overall ecology of the unit.

The Company provides the environment and facilities to nurture continual improvement, based on the collective expertise and knowledge management of the different people and specialist teams that make up OPERON.
