The ideal person will have a degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering.

We are seeking a Senior Engineer to join a busy and growing engineering company in the Wolverhampton area.
The company offers a range of bespoke mechanical engineering solutions to customers across the UK and Europe. These solutions will often require close liaison with a number of specialist suppliers and test agencies to guarantee that a project can be delivered on time, to cost and very importantly to specification.
To ensure the smooth running of projects and programmes a new position has been created within the R&D engineering department. This position will report directly into the Engineering Director and will have responsibility for directing and mentoring Design, Applications and Project Engineers within the internal development team.
The main purpose of the role will be to take an approved customer order/specification and create a high standard design concept from which parts and components can be sourced from. This will entail Design creation using Solidworks 3D CAD along with some FEA and Material Analysis exercises to prove the suitability and feasibility of an ordered product.
Duties will also include organising other team members to work on specific areas of a project and close liaison with internal and external departments. Working closely with the end customer to ensure an order can be delivered to spec and on time, whilst having a very close relationship with suppliers, test houses and specialist consultancies to support bespoke programmes.
The products are related to transportation for the commercial and military vehicle market sectors, so all applying candidates should have a similar background in designing and delivering Off-Highway, Commercial, Military or Construction type vehicles. However candidates from the Aerospace and Automotive sectors will also be considered.

An established engineering organisation in the midlands is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to assist in the design and development of Special Purpose Machine Tool Systems. The company provides turnkey solutions for various industries through innovative designs that fully integrate within modern manufacturing processes.
The role will have a focus on the 3D CAD design of precision machine tool assemblies and systems including the production of assembly and detail drawings and Bills of Materials.
