Product Design Engineer
We are seeking an engineer with at least 12 months direct mechanical design experience to assist a New Product Development team in the Oxfordshire area.
The position will sit within the Product Team and will be responsible for supporting and maintaining standard products, new product development and implementing improvements to standard and new products under the direction of the Design Projects Manager.
Main Responsibilities will be:
Research, design and develop new and existing products.
To provide assistance in the prototyping and testing of new products.
Production and maintenance of accurate and relevant product technical data.
Assist with the design, development and detailing of bespoke products, to customer’s specifications in accordance with the department working practices.

A longstanding company based in the heart of Birmingham is in search of an apprentice trained tool maker with CAD skills to join a team as a Tooling Design Draughtsman.
The role will focus on the design of Press Tools, High Speed Progression Tools and Multi-Slide Tools, and will ideally centre on the Inventor CAD Package.
Other main duties of the role will be detailed drawing of press tooling, capping machines and building layouts. Mechanical Design Engineer
We currently have an opening for a Mechanical Design Engineer to work on a number of new projects for a multi-national Engineering company based in the Midlands.
The main responsibility of the role will be the 3D CAD design and development of new and existing products, and the design of associated tooling and special purpose equipment using Pro/Engineer. The majority of the design work will involve the integration of precision machined components into pressure vessels. The candidate will be involved at all stages of the projects, from initial concept right through to the creation and issue of production drawings.

We are seeking a Mechanical biased Draughtsman/Designer with 2D & 3D CAD experience to join a special purpose machinery consultancy, who are tasked with the delivery and installation of equipment and plant layout to various locations around the globe.
The role has been created due to the continued growth of the organisation project portfolio and will play a key role in the creation of designs and supporting models for project builds, equipment installation, auxiliary piping and power feeds, waste management systems and mechanical structural systems.
Candidates applying for this role should be familiar with plant layout design activities, P&ID, Structural Design, Pipe layout Design, 3D Modelling of Machinery, Understanding of Pumps, Valves and Power Feed Systems, Safety Guidelines and some exposure to Process Production Systems and Facilities.
The role will be supporting a small project team of engineers, who will be often working at overseas locations. As such the right candidate will be expected to pick up the relevant procedures and methods in a very short time period and require minimal supervision.

Graduate Design Engineer
We are seeking a Graduate Engineer to join an organisation that design and supply a range of mechanical components and tools to a myriad of industry sectors.
The purpose of the role will be to work in a small Design Office under the supervision of the Design Manager and carry out a number of different design change exercises or new product development projects, in either 2D or 3D CAD.
These projects will often involve researching the strengths and properties of materials and components and designing prototype mechanical products that can withstand testing and compliance procedures. Due to the New Product Development side of the position, a suitable candidate will be expected to take on new information and technology quickly and be effective in project engineering their part of a project.
A suitable candidate will be Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or similar, with some hands on mechanical design experience (advantageous but not essential). The right candidate should have exposure of AutoCAD and either Solidworks or Pro/Engineer.
