Job Description
The duties of an assembler/wirer in our photomultiplier production area include:
• Assembling small metal ceramic and glass components using miniature spot-weld equipment, small hand tools and dedicated jigs and fixtures with copy sets as a guide. • Quality inspection of partially completed and fully completed assemblies, as required. • Achieving and maintaining an appropriate production rate once training has been completed and adequate competence has been achieved. • Maintaining records of work carried and entering data into our MRP system.
Education
• Candidates must be able to read, write and converse in English. • Candidates must have good counting skills.
Abilities

Job Description
We require a Site Maintenance Engineer to improve and maintain our facilities and services on site. Professional Skills We operate both a factory and office environment as so require an engineer with a broad range of professional skills that would include: • Competence with a wide range of hand tools. • The ability to fault-find, repair, maintain and improve a wide range of equipment and services in a manufacturing environment. • Working within all applicable health and safety requirements. • The ability to weld is preferred (ideally MMA welding). • The ability to read mechanical engineering drawings and schematics, and follow written procedures such as in maintenance manuals and safety procedures.

The successful applicant will work a 40 hour basic week on a day shift, hours will be from Shift start time range from 7am - 10am Monday - Friday.
The hourly rate of pay for the role will be £14.48 per hour.
After you have completed you probation with the business you may be offered the opportunity to join the companies master technician programme, the course is spread over 12 months and those that pass the exam and receive the qualification can expect to increase their hourly pay rate by up to 30% (£18.82 per hour)
Ideally you will have a current PSV driving licence, however those with a current car licence will be considered, applicants without a driving licence cannot be considered for the roles.
