Customer Experience
As the Branch Manager, you'll not only set the pace, tone and standards for your team you will also coach and develop them to provide an outstanding customer experience. You will also be responsible for developing the efforts of specialists within the branch such as Mortgage Advisors and Financial Advisors and ensure the customers receive a seamless service, whatever their needs. Operationally, you'll help develop your area's business plan and ensure your branch is fully equipped to reach its goals. You'll also be an inspirational leader, providing clear direction, coaching and support to build a committed, collaborative team that delivers high standard of customer service - day in, day out.
The Person we are looking for
You will need to be an accomplished people manager who can inspire a team to combine a strong sales focus with high standards of customer service.
You will need to have a broad knowledge of banking products, services, regulations and operations as this will enable you to run your branch developing your team and executing a clear, commercially astute business plan that's driven by your customers needs.
Ability to make your customer base the centre of your day, personality and strong communication skills, all your customers will know your name and your team will know you are always there to support and develop them.

This is a fast paced role requiring determination, confidence, ambition and drive. The Job
To work within a branch based environment as part of a driven team.
Sales and providing excellent service of non regulated products.
Dealing with general service enquiries and complaints handling.
To deliver exceptional retail business performance through excellent customer service, sales, transactional and transactional processing in line with agreed service levels.
Face to face customer contact and discussions to establish their needs and to gain quality leads.
Ensuring the customer needs are met at every level.
Providing very high levels of professional customer service.
Ability to develop long term customer relationships.
Proven track record of delivering excellent customer service, sales and building relationships in order to grow the business.
Ensure personal targets and branch targets are met.

The Person
4 GCSEs (C grade and above) including Maths and English, or equivalent.
A proven track record of selling and meeting branch targets.

Banking & Financial Services Knowledge.

Regulated Sales Manager Bancassurance Location: Manchester

Job Purpose: Manage and lead a team of qualified Financial Advisors responsible for giving advice within the retail branch network, branch based retail planning role. The aim of the business is to retain and grow customer relationships that meet business goals and targets.

Review service levels with both levels of Advisors to ensure customer needs are met.
Develop and implement plans for self and individuals in team, to achieve the value, volume, mix and quality of sales.
Plan and lead effective team meetings that add value to both individual and team with action points documented
Ensures action points are reviewed and delivered and key measures, monitors and tracks are in place and agreed.
Work closely with the Branch Managers, Regional Manager and Regional Development Manager to maximise capacity and sales opportunities as agreed in the Regional Plan
Ensures the effective performance management through managing both Advisors under and over performance in accordance with company policy.
Identifies development needs of team and co-ordinates development activity as identified through personal coaching, regular observations and liaising with Group resources as appropriate
Ensures development and career plans are in place for all Advisors.
Encourages and recognises good performance and behaviours and motivates the team
Ensure sales and submission quality standards are adhered to and takes prompt remedial action to address any shortfalls.
Take responsibility for recruitment needs and play and active part in recruiting your own Advisors.
The Person:
Proven track record in achieving sales
Experience of managing and developing a regulated sales force that has consistently achieved sales targets.
Experience of managing a business unit/cost centre
Qualifications Required: Full CeFA or FPC regulatory requirement
Currently holds CAS Status.
Currently holds Competent Advisor Status.
IMC/AFPC is desirable or must be currently studying .
