Responsibilities:
Supporting the delivery of Core Services requirements to Primary, Child and Dependant Sites as laid down in the Output specification.
·Maintaining the assets within the roles scope (i.e. M&E) safely ensuring that the functional and operational standards laid down in the Output Specification are met and that faults are rectified within the specified timescales.
·Provide support to the SEDM in co-ordinating a programme of works including a schedule of inspections as required by the contract.
·Provide support to the SEDM in the production of specifications to ensure that works services are undertaken to current legislation, mandatory requirements and best practice guides.
·To review handover documents to ascertain that the documents are compliant and suitable for incorporation into the management information system. ·To act as Principal Contractor and /or Planning Supervisor as required. ·Where the need is identified, deliver the duties of a competent / authorised person in accordance with the clients safety rules and procedures·To take part in the call out rota for the site.
·Maintaining the asset data within the roles scope in the MIS system to ensure it is 100% accurate at all times ·Develop and maintain the interface with Supply Chain Partners.·Assisting in the management of performance of the Supply Chain partners and their staff. ·Provide rough orders of costs for additional works outside the scope of the contract. ·Assist the SEDM to prepare risk assessments and method statements as required and any other Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental activities. ·Provide relevant information to the Performance Management System. ·Attend Management meetings and Training seminars as required
Skills required:·
The applicant should be qualified to HND/HNC levels in a Mechanical or Electrical discipline and have a good knowledge of relevant techniques and processes. Will have a proven track record preferably within a maintenance environment.
Experience - Technical
Essential: Will have a proven track record preferably within a maintenance environment and management and procurement of subcontracted services including writing specifications and basic designs. This will be primarily in the delivery of M&E services.
