This outstanding school (as described by Ofsted) is seeking to appoint a SENCO/Head of Inclusion on a permanent contract for April 2012. The successful candidate will provide strategic direction and co-ordinate the provision for students with a range of needs. The school is a smaller than most 11-18 schools but provides the highest quality of care and education. Pupils are expected to maintain the highest order of discipline and are encouraged to engage in voluntary work in the local community in order to enhance the spiritual ethos of the school. The school is often referred to as a “community where people look after you and make you feel like they want you to be there”. Ofsted describe it as a wonderful learning environment.
