Audio Visual Technician
Reporting To

Role Summary
We provide Managed Services functions such as technical on-site support, maintenance and administration to various large corporate organisations both inside and outside London.
The Locum AV Technician’s prime function is to provide backfill for holiday / sickness for the on-site teams or to provide additional resource across the customer sites of the Managed Services department.
The position involves a high degree of exposure, working sometimes with client executive management and managing directors to provide the services listed above.
Duties & Responsibilities
All services should be delivered punctually at scheduled times and in accordance with agreed SLA’s. The AV Technician is expected to arrive in good time for the start of the scheduled meeting setup-up time and remain until the required service is functioning correctly.
The Audio Visual Technician’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Video / Audio Conferencing
• Video / audio conference setup and support. Best efforts should be made to ensure all sites are connected on time and receiving / transmitting good audio / video.
• Site certification of all new and relocated video conference systems.
• Assist with support for video / audio conferencing problems. Investigate faults and recommend further actions to rectify.
General AV Meeting Room Support
• AV equipment setup and support.
• Presentation / multi-media meeting room support, including duration support.
• Quick response to emergency / ad-hoc requests.
Faults and Room Checks
• Carry out regular preventative room checks, ensuring all equipment functions correctly in accordance with the room check procedure.
• Ensure that all faults are reported in the correct way and in a timely manner.
• Proactive maintenance / reporting to ensure all AV equipment is always of the highest standard and functioning correctly.
• Assist with first line fault repairs.
• Carry out all power down / up when required, usually involving out-of-hours overtime commitments.
General Duties
• Multi-media tasks.
• Advise clients on best practice.
• Provide regular feedback on communication issues and service improvements.
Administrative Duties
• Providing monthly statistics of workload using Impact provided software applications.
• Manual data entry / completing daily schedule using various Bank applications.
• Liaising with members of staff in other departments or external contacts as appropriate.
• Assist with the creation of on-site documentation.
• Hold and attend regular meetings with global AV teams to discuss service and operations issues.
• A good working relationship must be maintained with AV counterparts globally.
Location
Schedule for locations will be supplied by the Managed Services Administrator, but the schedule is subject to change at any time and with short notice. Travel to and from client sites located outside of London can be claimed upon collection of receipts.
Working Hours
The Audio Visual Technician is expected to work the most suitable shift pattern to support the site, within the AV department’s operations hours.
Flexible hours may be required to provide cover. Working hours are subject to change to meet future requirements.
Overtime
Occasional off-hours work and/or holiday work will be required. Overtime can be claimed by arrangement. This must be accurately logged.

The Technical Services Group are responsible for providing (building, configuring, implementing) both hardware and software solutions for the R&D groups in their development of end-end broadcasting systems. Our client is rapidly expanding and is now seeking to recruit an additional highly skilled and efficient CNC Machine Tool Service Engineer to help them achieve further growth.
The candidate will be responsible for performing repairs and breakdowns of Machine Tools. You must have experience in servicing or maintaining machine tools and good electrical and mechanical skills. Based from home you will service and repair a range of CNC machine tools in and around the Midlands area.
Applicants must be conversant in a variety of CNC control systems and machine types. This is a customer focused role that requires high technical skills, good communication and a smart appearance. Candidates must have a strong machine tool background, either Electrical or Mechanical discipline. Previous experience of working on manual and CNC controlled machine tools would be of an advantage.

The role is a permanent position and we require someone who can fulfil the following criteria:-
- Internal Auditing to ISO 9001/ 14001 standards.
- Supporting the Quality Manager in maintaining and improving the ISO9001 systems.
- Managing Internal & External Quality concerns using 8D and other problem solving techniques. (Including Liaison with Customers)
- Supporting the Company with Continuous Improvements.
- Reading / Understanding First & Third angle projection drawings.
- Able to use all conventional measuring equipment (i.e. Height Gauge, Vernier, Micrometer, Protractor e.t.c.)
- Maintain the Calibration System of Internal and External Measuring Equipment.
- Operating and basic programming of Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM).
- Computer literate.
- Raising and maintaining quality documentation including Control Plans, Process Flow Charts, FMEA's, R & R Studies and PSW / PPAP.
- Carrying out Capability Studies to help measure and improve the manufacturing processes.
The hours are from 8am - 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8am - 1pm on Fridays. Salary will be dependant on your skills and experience with regards to other Quality roles.
