Administer prescribed medicines and maintain the necessary records as per Company guidelines.
Support and assist the Home Manager in auditing Care Plan documentation, to ensure best practice.
CARE
Maintain effective communications with the Home Manager.
As requested by, and/or in the absence of, the Home Manager maintain effective communications with Clients, Relatives, Staff Members, Quality Assurance Manager, Divisional Office and any other concerned bodies.
Obtain a report from the Person in Charge, and advise the Home Manager, regarding any incident / accident, and the status of any Clients whose care / health is causing concern.
Supervise visits and liaise with GPs in order to establish a good relationship between GPs / Health Care Professionals and the Care Centre.
Arrange / participate in Staff and Client meetings as and when required.
Manage, monitor and maintain budgets agreed by the Home Manager and Divisional Office. Where necessary, in the absence of the Home Manager, take corrective action in conjunction with the Quality Assurance Manager.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for well motivated and enthusiastic Registered Nurses RMN,
RNMH or RNLD who can demonstrate they possess the knowledge, skills and
personal qualities suitable for caring for those with learning disabilities in a low secure environment
We operate a competence and service based incremental pay system. The basic hourly rate for the post of Registered Nurses
commences at £11.93 and, dependent on satisfactory performance and
attendance, increments are implemented after 12 and 24 months in post.
These increments are in addition to any inflationary pay increases that may be
offered from time to time.
An additional £1.50 per hour is paid for weekend working, work undertaken
over Bank Holidays is paid at double time and an allowance of £5.00 is paid
for each night shift worked.
Salaries are paid via direct bank transfer in line with the schedule of pay dates that is issued to staff on an annual basis.
Full-time Registered Nurses are entitled to 33 days paid leave per annum,
calculated on a pro-rata basis for part-time staff.
On joining the Company’s Stakeholder Pension Scheme employees are
entitled to receive a matched employer’s contribution up to a maximum of 3%
basic salary.
Whilst working as a Registered Nurse you will be entitled to take therapeutic
meals and refreshments with patients. These are provided free of charge
whilst on duty.
