The organisation are about to roll out a set of new systems to their client, but need somebody to work onsite with their client to support their current systems in the interim, while the rollout is taking place.

The role will be general day-to-day in-house support e.g. interpret problem, log on to server, and troubleshoot. You will have sole responsibility over this period for supporting 65-70 users, so you will need to be a good all-rounder in terms of desktop and server support in a Windows environment.

This includes Exchange Server, Windows Server, MS Office, and Windows OS (XP, Vista, 7). You should be able to do basic troubleshooting on SQL Server (no particular version experience required).

You should have a minimum of 2 years' support experience in a Windows environment, in-house.

You will also need to be very comfortable in a client-facing role/environment.

Any outsourced IT experience would be particularly beneficial should you be interested in securing a permanent position with the host company at the end of the 5 month period.

Should you be offered this position, you will require a full CRB check, due to the nature of the client organisation.
