A specialist in advanced automation and real-time business intelligence our client is looking for a Business Development Engineer to work within the Bid Support function of their Nuclear Division. Either from a solution delivery background and interested in a more commercial role, or from a sales background, the successful candidate will work collaboratively within the team to help drive sales growth through involvement in complex propositions and bids. With the potential for involvement in research and development and a need to maintain strong relationships with Alliance partners the ability to contribute new ideas, to collaborate across a team and to bring enthusiasm and drive to the role will be key. A broad engineering background in Control, Instrumentation and Automation is required particularly with knowledge of PLC/SCADA applications. Experience in producing and managing proposals for multi-disciplined complex Control and Instrumentation/Automation solutions, able to identify critical issues and deal with suppliers, customers and colleagues required.
