ROLE DESCRIPTION
To ensure all deliveries are received and processed in a manner that minimises delays and effectively corresponds with the contractors required expectations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES
· At all times comply with H&S Policy and Procedures whilst undertaking your duties, and ensuring that all delivering vehicles and operatives meet all required safety standards.
· Check the work environment for safety, following safe working practices at all times.
· Ensure correct PPE is worn at all times by search bay operatives, visitors and delivery drivers within the inspection area and advise as to the site PPE requirements.
· Identify the destination of each delivery as it arrives.
· Determining the priority of each delivery e.g. Concrete pours.
· Organising the vehicle search by Chubb guards in order of priority.
· Contacting the appropriate contractor to ensure the material is expected and arranging an escort for the delivery at the site gates.
· Liaising with the security staff to ensure there are no unseen delays at the site gates.
· Develop good working relationships with all site personnel to ensure co-operation to allow successful deliveries.
· Ensuring pick-up of equipment and material from the sites is organised in advance and the contractors have made preparation for the arrival of the contracted vehicle.
· Consistently determining if there are better ways of improving delivery efficiency to the sites.
· Carry out any other tasks related to site deliveries, as required by the Logistics Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS
· CSCS Qualification or Equivalent
· Driving License
· IT Literate

KNOWLEDGE
· Good understanding of working within delivery environment
· General Knowledge of UK Health & Safety Legislation
· Good understanding of Company Safety, Quality and Security Procedures

Job/Role Purpose:

1) On a daily basis, undertake mechanical engineering design tasks as allocated by Engineering Managers/Senior Engineering Manager/Lead Engineer - Mechanical and deliver appropriate designs to agreed time, cost and quality requirements.

Qualifications:

Knowledge:

· Overall knowledge of the mechanical engineering needs of technically complex and highly regulated major projects, at a working level of detail, to allow suitable design and deliverable development. Working knowledge of JSP 467 would be an advantage.

The role will include the following tasks:

· For undertaking modelling of three point estimates, schedule and risk registers at each stage of the Project Delivery process in accordance with the Company Procedures and MoD requirements
· For facilitating the effective identification and management of Project Risks

Key Responsibilities
To ensure that I understand and apply my responsibilities with regard to the Company’s Environment, Health, Safety, Security and Quality Standards

· To work with and provide support for colleagues in Projects in the delivery of investment appraisal requirements.
· To work with others in the Project Environment to support the effective and efficient application of the Integrated Risk Management system
· To work with colleagues throughout and to share experiences and develop improvement opportunities for the Risk management function in the area of:
o Best practice processes, procedures, tools and techniques and mechanisms for their practical application

Qualifications
· HNC/HND or equivalent
· Risk Management qualification or membership of a relevant risk association/institution desirable

Knowledge
· Project risk management principles
· Project management principles
· Principles of best practice in project services including cost engineering, estimating, risk and value
· Risk management software particularly ARM, Predict and Pertmaster

Experience

· Previous experience of successfully leading, motivating and managing teams
· Significant experience in a project risk management environment
· Experience of risk analysis, including modelling of schedule, cost and risk

DescriptionRegister your CV Our client, based at the Fawley Refinery in Hampshire is looking for experienced Petro Chem. Field Engineers for the following disciplines:

Piping, Steelwork, Towers & Vessels.

(This is to work on an array of Turnaround projects, acting as the client representitive)

OBJECTIVE:
To ensure all work assigned is actioned in a safe, efficient and cost effective manner, in order to meet high quality standards and the agreed plan.

PRINCIPLE TASKS/RESPONSIBILITIES

Review Worklist.

Attend planning meetings to ensure all engineering meets deadlines and report progress.

Identify and inspect access, de-insulation and temporary equipment.

Review method studies task risk assessments produced by execution contractor.

Participate in construction planning and preparation reviews.

Planning and preparation of work packs / work scopes.

Raise contracts and liase with contractor supervision.

Review and approve method statements and risk assessments.

Ensure co-ordination of contractor interfaces to meet priorities and job preparation steps.

Review and approve work permits.

Review the work in progress to ensure safety.

Review construction progress against plans.

Maintain a diary of construction events and resources.

Provide expertise to contractors.

Provide reports on engineering progress.

Audit quality.

After completion of projects ensure database is updated by Drawing Office (D.O.) to reflect construction.

Co-ordinate D.O. activity for as-built and record updates.

The client is adamant you must have experience in the Petro Chem. sector.
