Flame Pharma are currently working very closely with a leading innovative, Global Contract Research Organization providing drug discovery, development and lifecycle management services. Together, we are looking for an experienced SAS Programmer with leadership capabilities to join the expert team in North Lanarkshire, Scotland.
The Role:
As the Senior Clinical Programmer, you will be working within the Biostatistics team and leading a team of SAS Programmers. You will serve as a programmer on selected multiple projects, and coordinating all programming aspects of the project. Contributing to the leadership of project teams as assigned by Biostatistics Management.
The Person
The ideal candidate will have a BSc degree in statistics, computer science or related field. However a non-graduate qualification may also be considered combined with good relevant proven industry and SAS programming experience in a clinical trial environment. A sound understanding of database structures and working with complex data structures is essential.

The Role:
The Pharmacovigilance Project Leader will lead and manage Domestic or International projects and may be part of a global Project Management team. Project Leaders will mentor junior staff and Functional Leads for specific Safety/Pharmacovigilance projects. You will be expected to participate in proposal development teams, giving input to particular indication and operational structure for the proposal. Pharmacovigilance Project Leaders are responsible to represent Project Management at marketing/new business meetings.
The Person:
The successful candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a Science related field together with a proven track record of International, full service Pharmacovigilance project management, across a broad range of therapy areas. Previous CRO experience is preferred. Peri-approval study phase experience is vital together with experience of large scale post-marketing, EAP and/or remote monitoring trials. Proven experience of working with research-naive sites and in providing creative solutions to Sponsor organizations in the post-marketing area is also required.
Candidates must be willing to work in a matrix environment and must understand the value of teamwork. Travel will be expected for this role.

Flame Pharma are working with a leading Global CRO to recruit a Director, Business Development to be based in the UK or Switzerland. This innovative organisation develops vital data to ensure successful progression in drug development. This Global CRO have a high clinical capacity and highly efficient Bioanalytical laboratories and experienced staff to ensure they offer one of the most effective clinical pharmacology networks available.
The Role
The successful candidate will develop new business for the European operations conducting early stage clinical trials, Bioanalysis and clinical pharmacology. This position will nurture strong client relationships between the Pharma industry and the Phase I clinical research facility in the UK and the Bioanalytical laboratory in Switzerland as well as sites in North America.
Essential functions of the role will encompass account management, managing the business development cycle, territory management with clear knowledge of all market segments (Biotech, Pharmaceutical and Generic), business management and marketing strategy.
The Person
To be successful in your application you must have a Bachelor’s degree in a life science subject or equivalent experience in a related field with proven CRO sales experience. Alongside this you will possess excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
Early stage CRO experience is required. Regular travel will be required. An attractive salary and benefits package is provided.
