The practice is located within the re-designed town centre and can offer high potential earnings from a client base, which is to treat NHS patients, with good numbers of patients willing to buy private treatments.
The practice has two surgeries, in this large purpose built medical centre. The practice is large with excellent equipment, having modern equipment and surgeries that are totally computer networked, throughout. There will be digital radiograph, software of excellence and cordless hand pieces. Free car parking is available at the practice.
The candidate is required to have the aspiration, to further increase private patient numbers, with excellent support and total clinical freedom granted. The position is full-time, with standard hours from 9 – 5.30.
The candidate is required to have a minimum of one year of experience as an associate or VT in order to deal with a patient list of around 2750, seeing 30+ patients per day. 8500 UDAs are required to be delivered with a £170,000 gross contract value (£20 per UDA). In reward to your commitment to this position you will receive a competitive salary and the opportunity for a long term career managing a very successful dental practice. Hours of work are Monday - Friday, 8am - 5.30pm, 20 days holiday + bank holidays.

Are you an experienced Practice Manager looking to develop your career within dentistry?
This new predominantly NHS dental practice are looking for a practice manager on a full time basis to join the team. This is a state of the art, fully modernised practice and computerised throughout using Exact SOE. There are two surgeries within the building, both are air conditioned and computerised.
Ideally they would be looking for the manager to work Monday - Friday, 8.45am - 6pm
Role:
Managing the practice to costs and budgets and developing and enhancing skills of practice staff. You will drive the practice forward in order to achieve key business objectives. Responsible for leadership at a practice level you will manage people performance and development. This will involve recruitment, coaching and developing staff, implementing agreed review procedures and appropriate training plans. This role will also involve spending time covering reception duties.
Candidates will ideally come from a nursing background so they are able to help out in surgery to cover staff sickness or holidays if cover isn’t available.
Ideal candidates will be driven; results focused and have a positive outlook. They will have experience of people management within a dental practice and will be a forward thinker / planner who critically assesses their own performance. Mature, credible and capable of communicating at all levels, commanding respect from their staff. They will be an all rounder and willing to help out in other areas of the practice when required.
The key to the correct candidate is their pro-active confident and dynamic approach to their role. They will be required to take the practice forward and promote their services within the local area utilising their existing skills and being encouraged to further current knowledge and qualifications.
Salary £22,000 - £25,000 pro rata
