You will be the first point of contact for all HR queries and be up to date with employment legislation and best practice, the role will include extensive travel with occasional overnight stays.

Other duties will include:

• To assist managers in the investigation and resolution and take minutes at hearings if necessary for both disciplinary and grievances
• Implement HR policies and procedures in response to queries raised by employees
• Assist the HR Manager in resource and succession planning and development of the HR team
• Develop and maintain an up to date knowledge of terms and conditions of employment, HR policies and employment law
• Implement information and administrative systems to support operational and functional goals
• Undertake interviews and support Managers in the recruitment process
• Liaise with Company solicitors and assist in the administration and preparation for tribunals
• General administration

Qualifications and experience:

• CIPD qualification desirable
• Knowledge of Best Practice and employment law
• Knowledge of Change Management

• Excellent interpersonal skills together with an excellent level of customer service, verbally, in person and via correspondence
• Excellent I.T skills and must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
